A college diploma does not mean you are educated. Quite the contrary. It means that you have been opened up to a perpetual state of < > and thus life-long hunger for more ideas, more knowledge, more good thoughts, more challenges. Some of dumbest people I know went to prestigious universities. They took diploma in hand, pronounced themselves well-educated and proceed never to read another book beyond the minimum limits required to make a living or make it socially.

머리로는 알겠는데....! '설마 ‘못배움’같은 게 들어가겠어...?' 라고 생각한 사람이 꽤 있을겁니다.

영어지문은 다양한 필자가 자기주장을 하고있기 때문에,

자신이 알고 있던 사실과 다르거나 다른 의견을 지닌 글을 읽을 때 주의해야합니다.

문제는 쉬웠지만, 항상 조심하세요! 간단하게 무지라는 뜻의 ignorance가 정답입니다.

(헷갈린다면 지문을 좀더 읽어보세요. 뒤에 예시에서도 대학가서

자신이 배웠다는 자랑을 하는 사람을 비난하고있죠?)

과학은 단순한 정보의 집합체인 것이 아니라,

아무리 비슷하지 않은 정보라도 그 사이의 관련성을 찾아내는 것이라고 말하고 있습니다.

중요한 구문은 바로 A is(consist) not B any more than C is D.

C가 D가 아니듯 A도 B가 아니다. 라는 구문입니다.

다들 들어봤지만, 많은 학생들이 실제로 접하면 헷갈려하죠. 이 기회에 눈에 익혀두세요 ~!

빈칸문장이 <단순히~ 하는 것이 OO기술이 아니다> 라는 반복이니까,

쌓아올리는 것과 관련된 기술은 architecture정도가 있겠죠?

베이컨 향이나는 잉크를 썼더니, 강아지가 신물을 찢어버렸죠?

중요한건 빈칸 직전의 'they'를 무엇으로 해석하느냐인데요.

이 글은 ‘마케팅실수’에 관한 내용인데 as fast as( ~하자마자) 로 보아

이러한 Problem이 잘 나타나도록 <신문이 오자마자>로 해석하는 것이 좋을 것 같습니다.

그러므로 they를 신문으로 생각하고, distributed가 들어가면 흐름에 적합한 문장이되겠죠~?

(그러나 이 문제는 제가 원래 객관식으로 낸 만큼,

완전히 주관식으로 생각하면 다른 정답이 존재할수도 있을 것 같습니다.

Many hormones work in pairs, < >. A good example is found in the way hormones control the level of sugar in the blood. The body needs a constant supply of blood sugar called glucose to work normally. After a meal has been eaten, the sugars in it are absorbed quickly. If the level of glucose is too high, the pancreas releases a hormone called insulin. Insulin reduces the blood glucose level by stimulating the liver to store excess glucose as a complex carbohydrate called glycogen. It also causes other cells of the body to take up glucose to be used for energy. If the blood glucose level gets too low, the hormone glucagon, which is also secreted from the pancreas, stimulates the liver to convert glycogen back into glucose. When the glucose level gets back to the appropriate level, glucagon release ceases.
